Luck Residence

The final project for Materials (IAD 245) walks through the process of redesigning a residential condo for a client. The requirements are to include: to specify the flooring, wall finish, ceiling, architectural details, fabric, and furniture for the master bedroom, guest bedroom, kitchen (materials only, not appliances) and living/dining area. In addition specify the materials and bath fixtures for at least one bathroom.

Client Statement: David Luck and his dog are looking for a home away from home. They like to enjoy the great city that they live in but want have a familiar home they can tuck away in and relax. His home will reflect the modern, city living loft designed for style, masculinity and comfort.

Concept Statement: Masculine City Living - David Luck's new home will have elements of his past city loft combined with a modern design that will leave him feeling like he has finally found his perfect home.
