Stories.

We tell them in the oral tradition, in writing, in song, sculpture, canvas. Our fashion tells the story of where we are going. Our homes tell the story of where we came from, and where we want to be. In some way or another, we all tell stories. Cassie Danielle tells her stories through her design. Whether it's a bright magenta Dahlia on a kitchen wall, bringing to mind the surprise and joy of a field of uplifting flowers, or a wall of reclaimed wood paneling taking you on a walk through a tranquil old growth forest, Cassie's bold patterns and bright pops of color draw from the colors and textures of nature to elevate a room to something more.

Cassie draws on her lifelong love and involvement in the arts for her aesthetic, having recently returned to the US from a stint as an expatriate in Hong Kong, where she taught art classes and worked with an island community art center to inspire a passion for art within her friends and neighbors. Fitzgerald famously said "there are no second acts in American lives." Perhaps he was wrong. Leaving behind her friends and her fulfilling career as a teacher, Cassie returned to the States determined to focus on the arts full time.

Her decision to pursue a career in Interior and Architectural Design came after much searching, but was an easy one to stand with. In her spare time, Cassie enjoys hiking and tap dance, and she frequently devotes time to her passion project of creating free form mandalas (before you could buy a damn coloring book!) using various genres of music to explore the influence of song on studio arts.
